At High Cliff Academy, we have chosen to study French which we introduce in all pupils in Key Stage 2. We believe that learning a foreign language provides valuable educational, social and cultural experiences for all pupils. Our languages education fosters pupils’ curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world. It enables pupils to express their ideas and thoughts in another language and gives them the opportunity to understand and respond to its speakers, both in speech and in writing.
